The owner and executive chef at Sabroso Restaurant, in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands approached Birds of Paradise Public Relations with an ambitious request: make Sabroso a household name for Virgin Islanders.
Through a robust campaign that included, strategic media relations, social media, content creation, and event, the restaurant has developed a cult-like following (both on and offline) and has seen a dramatic spike in sales, particularly with dishes featured on social media. Choiselle is an all-natural, luxury skincare startup that epitomizes an authentically natural way of life. Choiselle is comprised of a growing line of products created with all-natural ingredients, rooted in Caribbean culture.
Choiselle founder Nydia Norville, a St. Lucia native based in NYC, approached us to promote the launch of the newest item in her line of luxury skincare products. Birds of Paradise organized a 3-month earned media campaign comprised of strategic media relations, content creation, influencer marketing and social media that resulted in traditional and digital media coverage (St. Lucia News Online, South Florida Caribbean News, PANACHE Magazine, SecretBirdsHQ podcast ). Choiselle was also widely reviewed by social media influencers as part of an earned media effort which resulted in a 40 percent increase in social media followers.

In 2016, we were approached by the founder of a new global tech conference, that was slated to be held in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

We designed a strategic and highly-tailored media outreach strategy and secured media placements in top-tier outlets in Jamaica (The Gleaner), and the United States (The Huffington Post).
