With Major Challenges Come New Opportunities, New Ambitions

Four years ago, with the click of a button and a vibrant new website's unveiling, we launched Birds of Paradise Public Relations. The platform served as a leading marketing tool for a multi-cultural, multilingual group of women living in Miami, Los Angeles, and the Greater NYC area, who were ready to embark on an ambitious journey.

Our mission was simple. We wanted to share the fantastic stories of changemakers in the Caribbean who, through innovation and creativity, were introducing a new image of what it meant to be Caribbean entrepreneurs. Passionate about our home and proud of our culture, we were beyond excited to help our clients share all the Caribbean has to offer.

Within weeks of officially opening our doors, multiple brands throughout the Caribbean and diaspora came knocking, eager to tell their stories through traditional public relations and digital marketing. Inquiries also came pouring in for services that we did not anticipate, including promoting a multi-city U.S. Reggae tour that featured International Reggae artist Sizzla Kalonji and providing influencer management services for some of the most prominent Caribbean influencers. Our experiences in the last four years have guided the growth and evolution of Birds of Paradise Public Relations.

The challenges we faced while building our business seem minuscule compared to what we face today as the global Coronavirus pandemic rages. 2020 has an extremely challenging year for all of us.

However, with challenges comes excellent opportunities: to reflect on our blessings and past mistakes and develop the strategies needed to help propel us forward. As we all work to a better tomorrow, we are proud to continue serving our clients throughout the Caribbean and worldwide.
